Making a successful claim
Insurance policies are complex and often difficult to understand. The level of detail involved gives insurance companies a clear advantage over policyholders. But not if you call in some expert help. Making The Right Claim means claiming everything you’re entitled to under your policy. The key to a successful claim is to speak to us as soon as possible. This enables us to understand the facts right from the outset and to prepare the most comprehensive, water-tight claim.

Getting you back on track
At The Right Claim, we do whatever needs to be done to get you back on track as quickly as possible. That means preparing a full list of missing/damaged items, organising photographic evidence, helping organise urgent repairs and submitting the initial claim.

The next step
Once the claim is in, your insurance company will employ a loss adjustor to investigate and analyse its validity. They’ll check that you’ve complied with all appropriate policy requirements. We’ll negotiate directly with the loss adjustor on your behalf.

Making a full recovery
We can work with you to analyse the financial impact of the event and, where appropriate, organise a full recovery plan for your business. This can include getting approval for marketing spend to advertise the re-opening of the business. If necessary, we can provide a Chartered Building Surveyor to represent you.

Final settlement
Once the loss adjustor has looked into the claim, they’ll report back to the insurance company. The company will then make an offer based on this report. At this stage, we’ll negotiate with the insurance company to secure the very best outcome. We’ll also push hard to ensure that once settlement is agreed, payment is made promptly and in full.

Our fee
Because our fee is directly linked to the settlement of your claim, it’s in our interest to get best possible result. Please note, our charge will never be more than 10% of the total.
